Read on to learn not only about some favorite places in Nashville of today’s guest blogger, TV personality Lauren Bushnell — but also how to enter to win a bachelorette party there for you and your crew from SmileDirectClub.
Since moving to Nashville earlier this year, I’ve fallen even more in love with the city and all the fun places to explore! It’s been especially exciting to discover new spots as someone who is getting married soon, since Nashville has become a go-to spot for bachelorette parties!
I teamed up with SmileDirectClub (and my girl Jen Saviano of What Happens in Nash) to share some of my favorite places in Nashville in case you are planning a bachelorette party yourself, either for you or for a friend or family member.
Located in The Gulch neighborhood atop the Thompson Hotel, L.A. Jackson is a favorite of both locals and tourists. With a consistently good crowd and beautiful views of the city, this indoor/outdoor rooftop bar & restaurant is perfect for an afternoon cocktail (or three). Make sure to order the truffle fries—you won’t be disappointed.
This classic French bistro infused with Southern charm sits perfectly near scenic Riverfront Park, making Liberty Common a great brunch option. The robin’s-egg-blue leather booths are both charming and chic, as well as the perfect place to rest while diving into some oyster and rosé.
Bartaco is the most Instagrammable and stylish Mexican spot in The Gulch. Serving vibrant and flavorful tacos, Bartaco is a must for both indoor and outdoor dining. The tacos typically come out family style, so I suggest ordering a bunch for the table!
Must Try: the guacamole, house margarita (ask for it spicy), and the duck quesadilla.
If you love baked goods, Five Daughters Bakery is the place for you. The 100-layer, croissant-style doughnuts are insanely delicious and hand-crafted fresh every day. Try one of the seasonal flavors, or stick with the basics and dig in to one of the classic maple-glazed donuts: You really can’t go wrong here.
Pinewood Social is a chic, cool coffee shop that also doubles as a cocktail bar and trendy restaurant. The industrial space feels intimate yet open and attracts a great crowd. Featuring new American cuisine with a Southern twist, I recommend the chicken and biscuits and the brown butter waffle. The avocado toast is also a hit!
Stay to enjoy some bowling (there is a really awesome, retro bowling alley in the back) or bocce ball on their patio.
Coffee snobs, indulge: Whether you need a little afternoon pick-me-up or a morning jolt of energy, be sure to stop here. Kettner Coffee serves Nicaraguan coffee from New York City’s Café Integral and is just the cure you need. Stop in for a coffee and some very Instagrammable décor.
