In the first 30 days​

If you decide that our aligners aren’t for you within the first 30 days of receiving them, so long as you’ve registered them, we’ll provide a full refund (shipping costs not included). Simply ship your remaining registered, unused aligners back to SmileDirectClub. This 30-Day Money-Back Promise is part of our Lifetime Smile Guarantee. The 30-day time period starts the day your aligners are delivered to you, and you must register them online in your account.​

In the middle of treatment​

If you’ve been wearing your aligners for the prescribed amount of time, completing regular virtual Smile Check-ins™, but feel like something’s not right (or you’re not getting the results you expect), contact our Dental Care team. They’ll evaluate your treatment plan to determine if an aligner touch-up is necessary. If so, we’ll create and ship you new aligners, at no cost to you. Please note: You must be up-to-date on payments.

If you decide that our aligners aren’t for you, outside of the first 30 days, you can still return your unused aligners for a prorated refund (based on the percentage of aligners returned unopened and unused). Please note: You are responsible for shipping costs when returning aligners.​

After treatment​

If you want to retain your new smile after treatment, order your first set of SmileDirectClub retainers near the end of your treatment. With our Lifetime Smile Guarantee, you’ll qualify for a free aligner touch-up each year if you ever need one, so long as you wear your retainers as prescribed and replace them every 6 months.
