So, what happens when you sign up with SmileDirectClub? You start a Smile Journey^TM that could get you the results you want in as little as 4–6 months¹ with a new smile. Here’s how to straighten teeth the SmileDirectClub way.

1. Take an online assessment.

You can find out quickly if you’re a candidate for our aligners. You’ll answer a series of questions like what you want to change about your smile or if you’ve worn braces in the past. You submit the answers and find out in seconds if SmileDirectClub may help you, and if so, how to get started.

2. Make an image or impressions of your teeth.

If you’re a candidate for SmileDirectClub aligners, the first step is making a 3D image of your teeth, which is used to create your treatment plan. You can do this 1 of 3 ways:

• You can visit one of our SmileShopsto get a free 3D image of your teeth made by one of our SmileGuides.
• You can visit one the SmileDirectClub Partner Network offices in your state to get a free 3D image or impressions of your teeth.
• We can ship an impression kit to you so you can make impressions of your teeth from home and ship them back to us.

3. Your doctor will prescribe aligners for you.

A SmileDirectClub-affiliated dentist or orthodontist will determine which of our aligners is right for you – SmileDirectClub aligners that you wear all day, or Nighttime Aligners^TM that you wear for 10 continuous hours at night. You can choose your preference, but your doctor will decide which will work best for you. The doctor will prescribe an individualized treatment plan for you.

4. We’ll make and ship all your aligners.

We use state-of-the-art 3D printers to make your aligners out of BPA-free, clear plastic. You’ll change your aligners out every 1 or 2 weeks throughout your treatment, as your teeth move into place. So, you can expect to get a big purple box in the mail with all your aligners included. The box will also include a teeth whitening kit so your new smile will look even more fabulous.

5. You’ll have virtual check-ins.

Throughout your journey you’ll have virtual check-ins at regular intervals to ensure you’re on track to the smile of your dreams. You’ll access these check-ins through our teledentistry platform from the comfort of your home. You’ll also have 24/7 access to our dental team if you have any questions.

Once your teeth have moved and your smile has become all you had hoped, you’ll want to order your retainers to keep your results.
