If you have an FSA, all that money you’ve been earning for the last 11 months could expire in just a few weeks. Don’t let that happen; use your FSA funds to purchase SmileDirectClub aligners.
Say hello to a confident new smile. SmileDirectClub is the largest provider of doctor-directed, aligners. Our aligners are made with Comfort Sense™ technology, which is why they are clear, BPA-free plastic trays that fit snugly over teeth and gently shift them into the desired position. We work with a network of state-licensed dentists and orthodontists to oversee your smile ever step of the way. The best part? Our aligners are half the cost of braces1, without the metal brackets or wires. Plus, they straighten teeth in an average of just 4-6 months.2

Did you already complete SmileDirectClub treatment? Maintain it with a set of custom retainers. We recommend replacing your retainers every 6 months to keep them fresh and tight-fitting. Have lots of money to use in your FSA? Stock up on retainers now. Your future self will thank you.
An FSA is a medical savings account that allows you to set aside a portion of your earnings to pay for qualified medical expenses. Money deducted from your paycheck is not subject to payroll taxes, and it’s not taxed when you withdraw it. FSAs are available through your employer, and you need to define the amount of money you’ll contribute to your account for the year during open enrollment. Funds expire at the end of the year, so you need to use them or lose them.
An HSA is a medical savings account available to people who are enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP). Funds put into the account aren’t subject to federal income tax at the time of deposit, and you don’t pay any taxes on money you withdraw for medical expenses. With an HSA, even one provided through your employer, the money and the account are yours, and the funds roll over from year to year.
If you have a debit card associated with your HSA or FSA account, simply process your payment on our site like you would any credit card. If you have an HSA/FSA without a debit card, give us a call so we can help you process it.
If your dental plan provides orthodontic benefits, you may be covered for SmileDirectClub aligners. As of November 2020, SmileDirectClub is in network with UnitedHealthCare, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Empire BlueCross BlueShield. Learn more here.
We sure do. If our dentists and orthodontists determine SmileDirectClub isn’t the right fit for you, we will gladly refund your impression kit. If customers decide they aren’t happy with their aligners, they can return them for a full refund within 30 days of receiving them.
Our Customer Care and Dental teams are available 24/7, via phone, email, chat, video chat and social media.

1 “Half the cost of braces” claim based on Single Pay vs. avg. fees (incl. diagnostics and exams) for braces treatment, as reported in a nat’l survey of orthodontists. Comparison does not include added costs, such as retainers, and is limited to mild-to-moderate teeth correction, as braces may treat additional issues.
2 “4-6 months” claim is based on the number of 22 hour wear customer orders (approx. 95%) with treatment plans that are 4, 5, or 6 months.
