What is it? Pure Barre is a total body workout set to music, where you’ll use the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements to target specific muscle groups. Who’s it for? All levels. Classes are all the same technique level, so the difficulty depends on how hard you work in them. Check the website for a variety of classes depending on location.

Why you’ll love it: “It’s low-impact yet intense. I don’t sweat a ton, but I’m always shaking by the middle of the class – the small, repetitive movements really do tone your body and shape long, lean muscles! I like that I’ve gained flexibility and balance, too.” – Maggie

Why you’ll love it: “I like the energy roller coaster it takes you on. I love a good pump-up class with pump-up jams. The music is loud, the lights are low, and the room is kept really warm so you sweat a lot. It also incorporates strength in with the cardio, which most spin classes don’t.” – Emily
