What is it? Low-impact, resistance-based workout that lengthens and strengthens from head to toe. With roots in physical therapy, the P.volve method revolves around the connection between the muscles and joints, bringing a functional, pre-hab approach to achieving your best body while preventing injury. Classes incorporate a variety of equipment, including (but not limited to) gliders, ankle bands, ankle weights and the P.ball – one of the founder’s signature inventions.

What is it? Orangetheory Fitness is a 1-hour, full-body workout, focused on training endurance, strength, and/or power and led by fitness coaches. Classes are interval training, combining cardio with strength training, and you’ll wear a heart rate monitor throughout class with your results displayed on large screens in the studio.

What is it? High-intensity yoga. Most classes are practiced in a heated room. Classes include vinyasa; sculpt, where you’ll mix in strength training; circuit, which adds high-intensity interval training; fusion, a combination of hot yoga and power yoga; and restorative (unheated). Your stress will melt away as you hit the mat.

What is it? A 45-minute indoor cycling class with high-intensity cardio, strength training, and choreography to the beat of the music. Rides are set to energetic playlists and led by a coach in a candlelit studio.

Who’s it for? All levels are welcome. Barry’s doesn’t have a beginner class, but their trainers are there to help first-timers in every class.
